Võhandu river and Meenikunno bog

Our trip includes water-trip (canoes or boats) on the river Võhandu, which is Estonia's longest -156 km. After lunch we go to bog Meenikunno. Meenikunno bog is relatively young, because there are many here bog islands, which is higher than Kamarusmägi, Tundipalu mountains and Pikksaar. On the edge of the bog is the tower where starts the 2.5-km-long boardwalk nature trail. Marked path leads through the various information stands and bog types passes bog lakes. Right here, close to two totally different nature is also located in the lake: Valgjärve is considered the most transparent water lake in Estonia. In the summer, the transparency of the water for up to 8 meters.
