This is an ideal tour for the visitors who like to get overview of Baltics. It is an amazing trip that combines nature, culture, history and adventure. The tour starts in Tallinn and finishes in Vilnius (or vice versa), making a roundtrip in 14 days. We will pass through different landscapes, familiarize of the 3 capitals of Baltic States, take part in various activities (canoeing, etc.) and see many historic and cultural locations, cities and attractions.

ITINERARY:
Day 1: Arrival in Tallinn
Transfer from the port or the airport to the chosen hotel. Free evening to see the city. The cost of dinner not included. NOTE! Visitors are briefed in the hotels!
Tallinn is a charming blend of medieval tranquility and modern urban life. The medieval Old Town is a busy place in the summer with its many shops, galleries, souvenir markets, outdoor cafés and restaurants. The optional sightseeing tour takes you around the old medieval city walls and into the Old Town where we see Toompea Castle, the Dome Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and medieval Old Town Hall. In the afternoon we do a walking tour through the Kadriorg Park and the area surrounding the Kadriorg Palace. Accommodation:
Day 2: Tallinn-Aegviidu (B)
09:00 - 10:00 Transfer from your hotel to the Kõrvemaa Hiking - and Ski Centre.
10:00 - 10:30 Morning coffee and instruction.
10:30 - 12:30 Safari by the UAZ-jeeps to the Tapa polygons.
We see the beautiful views, alternate landscape and also the former tank-tracks on the road. Bogs, eskers, forests. We drive in motorcade. We have got the radio transmitters (walkie-talkies) in the cars and the guide talks about what it knows in the leading car and gives some tips for the drivers to pass through some segments. We stop on the real polygon too where all the participants can practice driving a car.
12:30 - 13:30 Lunch at Leppoja Metsatalu.
14:00 - 17:00 Bog trip on Kõnnu Suursoo (bog-walk and bog-shoeing). Transfer to Mustjõe.

Day 3: Aegviidu – Tartu (150 km); (B)
After breakfast, we continue towards Tartu. After arrival check-in to your hotel following by optional city tour.

Day 4: Kavastu – Floating Village (B, D)
After breakfast, we will go to see Tartu. Then we will drive to Kavastu (22 km). After reaching the River Emajõgi in Kavastu, we will board rafts that will take us to the floating village, our place of accommodation. Dinner and sauna.
The new floating village is built on two rafts. The first raft carries a house for meetings, gatherings and accommodation for up to 35 persons. The second features a sauna, toilet and picnic area. The floating village is particularly unique due to its location, which can be changed depending on the season and the water and weather conditions. The mobile complex enables to live on the fen throughout the year.
Day 5: Floating village –Kavastu – Saesaare – Taevaskoda – Värska (B, L, D)
We will drive to Saesaare (ca 45 km) where we will take the raft Lonny to Ahja River (45 min) and visit Taevaskoda. This is followed by a drive from Saesaare to Värska (ca 55 km) where we will have a chance to enjoy a performance by local Seto singers.

Day 6: Värska – Paidra (42 km) – Võhandu River – Taagepera (B, L)
After breakfast, we will drive to the start of the raft trip in Paidra. We will see:
- A memorial to all Forest Brethrens or partisans (near Leevi) who were killed, the place of death of the last Forest Brother August Sabbe (died on 28 September 1978)
Then we will head for Taagepera (123 km). On the road, we will see:
- Süvahavva exhibition pavilion – presentation of Võhandu primeval valley Kääpa barrows – second half of the 1st millennium, 32 barrows
- Rõuge observation platform
- Kekkonen Memorial and track in Kääriku
- Barclay de Tolly mausoleum
- Helme Manor, sacrificial spring and caves
OPTION 2:
Days 5-6: Floating Village-Võru-Tsirgumäe-Mustjõgi River-Koiva (Gauja) River-Strentči (Latvia); (2x B, L, D)
- Canoe trip on the river Mustjõgi and Koiva (Gauja), 2 nights camping on the river-banks
Riga founded in 1,201 by the German bishop Albert is the largest of the 3 Baltic capitals and boasts a true kaleidoscope of various architectural styles. The walking tour of the Old Town includes Riga Castle, Dome Cathedral, St. Peters Church, Swedish Gates, Three Brothers, Large and Small Guild House and the Freedom Monument. The afternoon is reserved for visit to Jurmala, the vibrant Latvian sea resort, famous for its wooden architecture and sandy beaches. We do a walking tour on the sandy beaches from Pumpuri to Majori (3 hours, light) In the evening enjoy a Latvian gourmet dinner at the stylish Restaurant La Boheme.

Today we drive through the Gauja National Park to Ligatne Wild-Life Park. We enjoy a walking tour through the park, where bears, deer, elks and other wild animals live in a fenced-off enclosure of natural habitat (2 hours, medium). After a visit to Sigulda, a popular holiday resort, we drive around Riga to hit the highway down to Vilnius. En route we reach the magnificent Rundale Palace, the former summer residence of the Duke of Courland. After a guided tour of the palace we travel through Lithuania to reach Vilnius late afternoon. Days 9-10: Curonian Spit (3xB)
Travel to the former Prussian capital Klaipeda, then discover ancient pagan beliefs concealed within the nearby national park. Its traditional wooden architecture is nestled among the highest drifting sand dunes in Europe.

Days 11-12: Aukstaitija National Park (2xB)
Hike and canoe through lush forest to appreciate the natural wonders of this delightful national park - all 126 lakes of it. Visit traditional medieval villages and learn about Lithuania's ancient beekeeping industry, founded in the 15th century.

Days 13-14: Vilnius (2xB)
Experience the cosmopolitan charm of a city that has been occupied by several European powers, each leaving their mark. Discover beautiful Baroque architecture and immerse yourself in the vibrant arts scene. A day trip to Trakai unravels the mysteries of the medieval Karaim people. On day 14th transfer to airport.

We offer you the opportunity to discover Estonia by safaris and visit places, which are not on typical bus routes. You may not find them by your own. Estonia is much more than shown in pictures in pamphlets or what you can see from your bus window. During our safaris you can experience rural Estonia. We have carefully drawn up routes that bring you through forests and between fences along dusty lanes. Travel the high border of the Baltic cliff while the sun sets into the sea, through old fishermen’s hamlets to national parks and mansions. We will discover together natural sights (grottos, waterfalls) also manors, military sites left by the former Soviet Army, ruins of a naval fortress from the period of the Russian czar Peter the First, as well the ancient earthen strongholds. Our safari-style tours may take several days or even weeks. Adventure safaris are 3+ hours. You can drive yourself or ride with a driver. The difference being “Safari with a driver” gets you an experienced driver for your service. “Drive by your own” means that you will drive yourself, a valid driver’s license is required. All our vehicles are provided with GPS devices intercommunicative radios and wenches. Our guide car will always be following and trip explanations will be available via the communication device during the entire trip. Short stops will be made at interesting sites.
